The Story Box for under 5s
Our free, weekly Story Box groups bring books to life through music, games and crafts for children under-5 and their grown-ups.
We work in Spellow Library on Monday mornings from 11am-12 Noon, Toxteth Library on Tuesday mornings from 10:30am-11:30am and The Old Library on Thursday mornings from 10am-11am.
Our sessions will return in September.
Join us in the fantastic Spellow Library on County Road from 11am - 12 Noon for our interactive reading group for children and their grown-ups.
The Little Details:
The Story Box is designed for children ages 2-5; younger and older children are welcome, but some activities may not be suitable for them. Our free craft packs are for children aged 18 months+
The Story Box is currently free thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund!
Due to our specific funding, we can't accommodate childminders at this time.
We have ample space, so please feel free to bring your pram into the room.
Children will need to stay with a responsible parent/carer throughout the event.
Our Story Box sessions are very popular, so if you can't make it, please let us know! This is so we can offer places to other families and avoid making too many activity packs. Failure to inform us may result in your place for the following week being cancelled.
To keep everyone safe, please don't eat food on the mat.
Please do not attend if anyone in your household or bubble has Covid-19 or other illness symptoms.
Photographs will be taken at our events, which Creative Spaces Co. and our partners may use in future promotional materials. If you do not wish for your child’s photograph to be taken, please opt out with the facilitator

If you would like to hire The Story Box for your event, play group or school, we’d love to hear from you. The Story Box costs £100 for 1 hour, with a member of our team and lots of high-quality resources.
