An exhilarating, twisted tale of desire, suspicion, and obsession between two women staying in the same house in the Dutch countryside during the summer of 1961—a powerful exploration of the legacy of WWII and the darker parts of our collective past.

How our book club works:
- Once you sign up, you’ll be sent a welcome email.
- Pick up a copy of the book from your local bookshop or library.
- Enjoy the book at home and join our WhatsApp chat (don’t worry, it’s a no-spoilers space!)
- Join us on Sunday 5 October from 1:30-3pm in Baltic Creative on Jamaica Street to discuss the book.
