Reading Folk

Creative Spaces Co. Book Club Social.jpg

Reading Folk is a 5-week Book Club for mums of children under 2. We meet weekly (with your little ones) in Liverpool and Knowsley to chat over a good book and enjoy some grown-up company.

Our next club starts on 17 April in Toxeth and 19 April in Halewood, and we’re reading Young Mungo by award-winning author Douglas Stuart. Join us in Toxteth Library on Wednesday mornings or Halewood Library on Friday afternoons.

How Reading Folk works:
- Sign up and become a member before Friday 12 April.
- At our first meet-up, you’ll receive a complimentary copy of Young Mungo by Douglas Stuart.
- Each week, we’ll set several chapters for you to read at home, and then we’ll discuss them the following week.

- We’ll chat about the book over some light refreshments.
- Our Liverpool Group meets on Wednesday mornings from 10:30 - 12 Noon in Toxteth Library, Windsor Street, L8 1XF
- Our Knowsley Group meets on Friday afternoons from 1-2:30pm in Halewood Library (in the Halewood Centre) Roseheath Drive, Knowsley, L26 9UH.

“This is the first book I've read in five years; I'm starting to feel like me again” - Reading Folk Member
