Launch of Reading Folk

  • Bluecoat School Lane Liverpool, England, L1 United Kingdom (map)

Reading Folk is our weekly Book Club for parents and carers; we meet on Wednesday mornings (with your little ones) to chat over a good book and enjoy some grown-up company.

We’ll be meeting 10am-11:30am on Wednesday 19 April, Wednesday 26 April, Wednesday 3 May, Wednesday 10 May, Wednesday 17 May

How Reading Folk works:
- Become a member for £5
- You’ll then receive a complimentary copy of Really Good, Actually by Monica Heisey,
- Each week, we’ll set a number of chapters for you to read at home, and then we’ll discuss them the following week.

- We’ll start the sessions with songs, rhymes and games for little ones, and then we’ll chat about the book over coffee and cake.
- We’ll meet in The Bluecoat Bistro at 10am until 11:30am

The little details:
- We’ll have books and toys on hand to keep your little ones entertained while we chat.
- We’re unable to refund membership fees, so please only sign-up if you’re certain you can join us.
- Books and refreshments are free, thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund.
- As our Book Club is part-funded, members need to be based in Liverpool City Region (Merseyside) and over 18.
